The Santa Maria di Castello Hostel is located in a sixteenth-century cloister with a large green space in the oldest district of the city, thanks to the geographical position of Alessandria, it is an excellent base to move to discover the whole Monferrato that with its landscape of rolling hills covered with vineyards, ancient villages and castles rich in history, has recently become a World Heritage Site.
At the centre of an important crossroads, the hostel can be an excellent support point to move towards important cities such as Turin, Milan and Genoa, which are less than an hour away by car or train.

The province of Alessandria is particularly suitable for hiking tourism thanks to its different landscapes and the dense network of paths that branch out in many directions and that reach the sea, to be covered by bicycle or on foot.

The hostel in Alessandria is a low-cost accommodation solution suitable for the most diverse needs.
In these years have passed by us: travelers of all ages, university students, families with children, couples of lovers and groups of friends, away workers, entire theater companies, rock band to complete theater….
At the Cloister there is room for everyone.
We have eleven rooms for a total of 70 beds:
three rooms with 10 beds.
two rooms for 8 people (with en-suite bathroom).
two rooms for 6 people (with en-suite bathroom).
four double rooms (with shared bathroom).
Double rooms are accessible by persons with reduced mobility.
